Drop In Meditation Classes in Sai Kung

In this course we try to cultivate and meditate on the elements which lead to living a happy life. Each week Katy will explain how to develop inner peace by guiding a breathing meditation. Then Katy will give a short talk explaining one of the verses from Geshe Langri Tangpa’s “Training the mind in eight verses”, based on the commentary to these verses, “The New Eight Steps to Happiness” by Geshe Kelsang Gyatso.

The instructions in these verses help us to cultivate a mind of loving kindness and shows how by training in love, compassion and patience, we can turn every daily situation, even difficult ones into opportunities for spiritual growth. Following the teaching there is opportunity to meditate on the meaning of the verses explained in class.
